North Florida Business Brokers

Employment Opportunity

Would you like to work with us?

Becoming a business broker is exciting and very rewarding. We'll train and support your efforts all the way through, from the listing to the closing.

If  you have a Florida Real Estate Salesperson or Brokers License, you already qualify to work with us... Right from your location. Our growth strategy is to have one satellite operation with one or two representatives in each mayor and mid-size city in the State of Florida.

This profession is not for the one seeking instant gratification but for those who are patient and seek solid, larger rewards with time and dedication.

This is what you need in order to apply to set up a satellite operation for NFBB, Inc. in your local town or city; but, first and foremost, you must be extremely honest... Period! Everything else is secondary:

  1. The desire to make money in the mid to long-term period. And the ambition to establish a name in the community as an honest and confidential business broker, that can be trusted with financial information as well as with personal issues conducing to the sale of a business.

  2. Sticking power. Because you should expect to have your first closing no sooner than 6 to 8 months from your first listing, you need to have the resources to sustain yourself throughout this period without an income from this activity.

  3. A quiet place to work at home with a computer and a fast connection to the internet. Your computer must be fairly new and have the latest Micro Soft operating system.

  4. You need to know how to use the internet and must know basic typing and writing skills to communicate with buyers and seller, through email, word processors, etc.

  5. You also need to have a cell phone dedicated to this activity where we can transfer calls directly to you, from our office or through the internet.

  6. You need to commit to business brokerage primarily, as this is a full time job, that at the beginning will be slow, but in time, you will be very busy, and part-time dedication will not be acceptable to sellers, buyers, or to the Company.

  7. You need to be able to be trained and to continuously follow strict guidelines from our Company as well as from the associations and the Governing bodies from the State of Florida and Federal regulations.

  8. Dress code: When visiting or meeting with clients: Business casual. No Jeans, No smoking.

  9. Phone etiquette.

  10. Credit, driving, and criminal records will be checked. We are a drug free and an equal employment opportunity employer.

If you believe you can deal with these simple requirements, and you would like to dive into this activity, please submit your resume for evaluation, or call Roy Duenas directly if you have any questions prior to submitting your resume.
